Beaumont Robe:

We've put together a handy guide to try and help you work out the best size, based on your height and either UK size for women or chest size for men:

*Although still a contemporary, oversize style, please note our Beaumont Robes are intentionally slimmer in the body compared to a typical changing Robe to improve the versatility and enhance the style. They do however still have all the functionality required to be used as a swim Robe and you may wish to size up for the extra space. Contact us if you wish to discuss the perfect size for your measures and intended use further.

We're more than happy to help either via our contact page or using the live chat feature online.

*Please note this is only an estimation and so to ensure you get the best fit every time we offer free exchanges, allowing you to try on at home risk free and simply switch if necessary.

Is the Beaumont waterproof?

Yes. The Beaumont is designed to protect against rain and wind in cold, wet conditions.

How warm is the Beaumont?

The Beaumont has a TOG rating of 6. Many customers describe it as similar to wearing a duvet outdoors on cold days. It is designed for prolonged exposure, particularly when standing still.

Is it suitable for extreme cold?

When layered appropriately, the Beaumont can keep you comfortable in temperatures down to approximately -6°C.

Can I layer underneath?

Yes. The Beaumont is designed with layering in mind. It has a wider-than-normal fit to accommodate base layers and mid-layers without restricting movement.

This is by far the

"This is by far the best jacket I’ve ever owned. I get so many compliments on it, it’s very warm and I love all the pockets! I did end up exchanging for the forest green instead due to personal preference but overall a great jacket."

I’ve been looking at the

"I’ve been looking at the Beaumont robe for ages and when a 20% off offer landed, I took the plunge. I’m so glad I did, though I dithered over which colour to get. Medium robe is a very good fit (for reference, I’m 5’7”, size 14 U.K.), nice length to just below knee, lovely silver grey which matches lots of colours, and pockets are fantastic. The robe looks nice on as it tapers slightly towards the bottom (if you want to really stride out, you need to open the two-way zip at the bottom a little). I don’t think the robe would be wide enough to change under (at least for me) but I use it as a walking coat and I walk everywhere with and without dogs. As others have mentioned, the zip can be fiddly. I think this is partly due to its position (which is a couple of inches from the bottom hem of the coat) because it’s hard to see to line it up properly. But not a deal breaker. I’d happily buy another one in a different colour - just as soon as another offer rolls around!"

Keeps you warm, gets dirty

"Keeps you warm, gets dirty very easily, but it’s easy to clean. The fleece obviously takes in every smell so any perfume or cologne will stay prominent on the inside of the jacket. It can be slightly annoying."

Bryanb (4/5)

This is a great coat

"This is a great coat ... very warm. I swapped mine out for a smaller size and customer service could not have been better and more efficient and lovely. Thank you all around!"

It didn't fit the way

"It didn't fit the way I was hoping, not flattering for my broad shoulders but the quality qas great."

I saw this jacket on

"I saw this jacket on someone and fell in love. Bought it that night. This jacket is comfortable, warm and not bulky. Shipping was super fast!"

Redshopper (5/5)

Fantastic purchase

"I purchased this coat on a recommendation from a friend, mainly to wear at my kids' sporting events, as we live in an area that they can be playing sports in very cold, rainy and windy conditions. I cannot recommend this coat enough. It kept me very dry and warm on cold, rainy soccer nights. Even when the wind was blowing ferociously, I stayed nice and toasty. After wearing it during soccer, I am so glad I will have it for our spring baseball season!!! Highly recommend if you are out in the elements at all."

Jill D. (5/5)

Large and cozy coat with a couple of negatives

"Overall I like this a lot, it’s basically a bunch of pockets that come with a very large coat (even though I sized down). It seems to be impervious to wind and is warm, I love the length and the hood is huge, it’s very well made and good value for money. However I didn’t give it 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. It’s noisy 2. The zipper is tricky 3. The lining sheds so you can’t wear black underneath 4. It’s quite bulky around the shoulders and tricky to carry a shoulder bag because the fabric is slippy. What is the mystery zipper in the seam for?"

Helen D. (4/5)

The coat is warm and

"The coat is warm and windproof. Perfect for bad weather conditions."

Timm M. (5/5)

Wanted to love this jacket

"Wanted to love this jacket but with my middle-age middle and narrower shoulders, the unisex sizing made the shoulders incredibly boxy. It is also super heavy - almost like putting on a sleeping bag. That said - super cozy - love the coverage, pockets galore and the pops of tomato-red are really fun."
